5 hockey videos and I know two little boys that will love them, will be extra presents under the tree.
1 pepper squash which I cooked in the microwave and then put the squash through my potato ricer and have enough for my Thanksgiving 'pumpkin pie' and for one at Christmas. If you don't let your family see you making them they will never know the difference.
Enough roast beef, gravy and carrots from volunteering last night for the three of us for dinner, only had to cook potatoes and mash them - works for me.

dh's parents stopped by last night. They had closed up their cabin in NY and are headed back to CO. So they brought some things from their fridge and freezer

- 2 small tubs of butter
- an almost full thing of salad dressing
- a 2 pound beef roast, seasoned
- 1 lb of ground beef
- turkey lunch meat
- 1/2 package of sliced cheese
- mayo
- peanut butter
- bag of baby carrots

They brought the kids the following

- ds #1 a pair of pjs and a dvd
- dd #1 an outfit
- ds#2 an outfit, pair of pjs, toy truck and a magnadoodle for his birthday
- dd #2 an outfit and a lift the flap book

They also took us shopping and bought dd#1 a heavy winter coat and dh a snowblower. Oh and they took us out to dinner and his mom cried when they left. It was a really fun evening and I am sad that they are gone. We probably won't see them until May.

So far this month -

I got a free Always kit.
My Mom took me to the craft store and got me a really great angel to hang on the front porch. I LOVE IT!
She also bought DS #2 new shoe strings for his play shoes and took me to lunch.
Does that count? :)

I haven't gotten anything free yet but I have signed up for a bunch of stuff this month already, maybe something free is headed my way? I sure hope so.

Wow Amanda, 5 days into the month and you have a ton of free stuff! What is your secret and where do you shop? Are they all freebies that were on sale and used with coupons?

Oh, and the other day I found a catalog I had put in a box to look at later. It's a DHC catalog and there was a page of samples on the last page of the catalog. Happy find!
