    4 bags of cat food
    1 bag of WW candy
    4 bottles of Propel water
    loaf of French bread
free movie rental (coupon) & snacks (paid with free gift card)

At Bed, Bath & Beyond, I used $50 in Rewards GCs and a $10/$30 coupon to buy much needed shower curtains, toilet seat and two solar outdoor lights.

I won a $100 Dicks Sporting Goods gift card. We have been looking at replacing our 12 year old chimenea as the bottom finally fell out. I found an outdoor firepit for $119.99, and figured it would cost me about $25 (with tax) to replace it. We use it a lot, so I thought that was reasonable. We have the rewards card, and last week I received a catalog in the mail that contained a few coupons. One was for 15% off any single camping or outdoor living item. Cool, so I get my out of pocket cost down another $18. We get to the store today, and pit was on sale for $99.99. I added a package of replacement mantles for the lantern, an ice cube blanket and a hot/cold bag to put away for our canoe trip this summer. Total with tax came to $98.83, so the cashier cashed out the card and gave me back $1.17 cash. This is the best deal!

Younglady50: are you referring to me and my crafting supplies?

Generally people in my community know I'm into redistributing the wealth. I volunteer with various organizations that quilt, sew and knit for charity. People know I rug hook too. I get all kinds of stuff given to me that I often redirect to the groups I'm involved in. A lot of the yarn I received this last while will be taken to a local crafting group to disperse among some older women on fixed incomes.

I also take part in Full Circles on-line, which is a site like Freecycle (but NOT Freecycle). People locally are often giving away all kinds of stuff. I give away stuff from my home too. It's a great way to de-clutter!

Last month I managed to find a lady who worked at Fabricland who was giving away 3 garbage bags of fabric she'd bought off the bargain wall. I've also found knit needles for a friend off Full Circles, and built my own collection off Full Circles too.

I will be going when I have errands out that way because I would rather LOSE $4 in free than spend who knows how much in gas.
