Leftovers from last night - prime rib, oven-roasted potatoes, and a salad. I gave all my bread to my family, so I'll either have to make another one or suffer through.

Think that our special meal today may be breakfast/brunch. On the menu:
Teriyaki poke - chunks of raw fish with seaweed seasoned with mild teriyaki
    Smoked salmon poke
    Smoked salmon
    Gutterberg salami
    Fruit bowl
    English muffins and bagels
    Capers, tomatoes, onions, cream cheese

We will see what the rest of the day brings for food!!

We did Christmas with family and friends from out of town earlier this week. So, our Christmas was a little smaller with just the 6 of us. We tend to focus on a bigger breakfast together and a smaller lunch. By dinner we are all so overstuffed that we just do leftovers. We had chocolate chip waffles, bacon, and scrambled eggs for breakfast.

Pork cooked with cranberry sauce and apples, a new recipe. Leftover green beans.

I baked a few cookies while ago, so I think I've already had dessert.

Late tonight I'll finish up some turkey-veg soup and cornbread.

I was going to make baked ziti (we had my parents over) but totally flaked on buying the ricotta cheese.

So, I made pasta with meat sauce and that's what we had (for about the tenth night in a row!)

There hasn't been an uproar in your house yet Amy? LOL

We held true to our tradition - buffet I had shrimps, fish and greens. Yum! Dad had turkey drumstick (holy huge!) and all the average bird fixin's with fresh fruit salad for dessert.

We had a big breakfast/brunch meal at my parent's house. We had scrambled eggs, cinnamon rolls, biscuits & gravy and orange juice. I have been grazing on snacks the rest of the day. Maybe I'll have leftover spaghetti for dinner.
