What's for dinner Monday, 16 June, 2014?

Seriously, what's for dinner? I make a monthly menu, which helps a lot, but Hubs has decided NOT to go out tonight, so he will be home for dinner. That means the seafood I had planned to make is a no-go (not only does he not eat seafood, he hates the smell so much we don't even cook it when he's home.)

I'm thinking something using pork chops... maybe throw them in the crock pot with the last of the bbq sauce?

chicken i have been marinating in sesame ginger marinade for 2 days. I will grill it and serve w/ wh. rice. I also have birds eye frozen broccoli???
I might try to bakeoff choc. cookies on the grill in foil? can you do that??

I have thrown two chicken thighs in the crock pot with some bbq sauce. I am going to steam some broccoli and make some noodles and toss them with some butter, parm cheese and Italian herbs. My DH is in his temp apartment, and DD1 is staying overnight at her college for her orientation. So it's me and the 3 little ones (5, 3, and 1) I might be able to convince the 5 yr old to eat the chicken, and the baby is about 50/50. The 3 yr old is developmentally delayed and if she doesn't run when I stick a small piece on her plate, then we have made progress. That's the reason I am struggling with the 5 yr old, because I have to feed the 3 yr old something different or she actually won't eat.

But, OP, why don't you just make something else on your menu and switch out? The BBQ chicken I actually had on the menu tomorrow night, but I made my menu before I realized that I was not going to have the other two adults here. I originally had corned beef on the menu, but with no one else to eat it but the 5 yr old (she loves it but only has a 5 yr old's belly) I would end up with most of the roast back in the freezer, so I figured the chicken was a better idea.
