I have some organic chicken strips. I'll add some feta cheese and slice up an avocado on it. Probably add some brussels sprouts or the fresh asparagus that's in my fridge. I always end with some dark chocolate.

I was down with pneumonia for a while so I've been cheating and doing meal kits so I wouldn't have to grocery shop...and I've been really impressed. This week was Tuscan-Spiced Chicken, Honey-Glazed Pork Chops, Cheesy Corn Bisque, Ancho Chili Meatloaves. And each makes two servings so I was only cooking every other day.
Viggie- I'm not sure that cooking delivered ingredients counts as cheating. Esp when it comes to illness! I'm pretty darn surprised you were able to cook when breathing was an issue. yikes. The meals look yummy and I hope you're doing better!
DH may smoke chicken today. If not, breaded chicken strips and bacon cheesy bread is on the menu.
It's a beautiful fall day, so I'm going to fire up the grill (burn a few more sticks) and cook hot dogs. Have some cabbage to use up, will make a quick slaw in the food processor. Fresh fruit for dessert.
the mystery container was pulled pork so that plus some box mac n cheese and frozen carrots.

Sloppy Joe sandwiches and sweet potato fries. Used up the last hamburger buns. Had one carrot in the fridge so I grated that up into the sauce for a little extra nutrition. Diced some bell pepper and garlic from the garden. Leftovers for two more meals put into the freezer.
Taco Tuesday with some left over ground beef that I need to use up.
