Nanowrimo Support 2008
Hey guys- anyone interested in doing a daily "post when you can" here to update our progress and give each other a nudge/encouragement?
I'm excited and ready to go. I can't wait for tomorrow!

I would love to. I was planning on doing Nano this year. Couldn't last year because November ended up being a really busy work month. This year my brain is just totally fried and I don't think I could even string two sentences together right now.
Good luck and good Nano vibes to you guys. I'd love to read about your experiences with it as you go along.

Happy Nanowrimo!
Is everyone writing?
I'm working on it and will report my word count later this evening.

If anybody would like to engage in a word war at some time during the nano, feel free to pick me as your worthy opponent

I guess you're all far to occupied with your writing to post here :-)
My story is getting more and more evil. Somehow, people die like flies in my novels. And gruesome deaths, that is. My sidekicks are turning into really interesting characters, propelling the story on of their own accord. Quite surprising :-) I just found out yesterday that a guy I didn't even think needed a name belongs to a semi-illegal underground of radical vegans, and probably won't let my kill a character that was already living on borrowed time ;D

I'm slightly ahead wordcountwise. Somewhere on the way, I seem to have lost realism, though
My story is a tad more... implausible now, but I guess, most thrillers are

I'm doing great. I have less than 5,000 words left to reach my 50,000. I'm so excited!
Parsimonious, I'm sure you will make it. It seems like a lot of us start to fall behind during the middle of the month. You will reach the 50,000 mark before you know it!!!!

Congratulations!
I know I'll finish. I can kick my own butt with enough force to make sure I doBut I'm hating it! Hating it! And, did I mention, hating it?
