My first story for others

I just posted the first chapter of a fan fiction story I wrote on the fanfiction website. I already have one positive review. The story is finished and I plan on posting it little by little. I'm just so excited! It makes me want to write a lot more!

This is the first thing I've ever written that I've let other people (other than Philip or my sister) read.

Do you write for fun or do you plan on submitting it for publication?

Just a note: Some publishers will not even touch your stuff if it is up on the internet.

This is just for fun stuff. It's fanficition based on a movie, and therefore not really eligible for publication anyway. I have other (original stories) things I might want to eventually submit for publication and you're absolutely right - I will not be putting those on any website.

Congratulations, that is great. Would you share your story with us? I would love to read it. I had never seen that site before but it is so neat. I have been surfing around it and reading various stories, I love it
