Got DH up and about. Have to get DS up since he has to be to work at 8. DD has an ortho appt this morning. Since I will be off Tues- Thurs I am going to avoid housework other than the normal dishes and such.
I'll be cooking up some corned beef in the crock with beer, season pkg, bay leaf and peppercorns. Serving it with mashed potatoes & carrots. I'll also have some horseradish at the table for the corned beef, they seem to go together so well.:)
Another easy dinner here tonight, we're having tacos! :mdance:
Change of plans, having the tacos tomorrow. Tonight will be sauteed lemon garlic chicken, tomato basil noodles with parmesan cheese and zucchini. :tay:
I didn't get to walk yesterday. The kids are home for Easter Vaca and it threw my usual routine's right out the door! BUT...I got a half hour "jog/walk" in this morning...I'm getting stronger...I jogged wayyyyyy more than I walked...
It hit me hard today...I'm not 13 anymore...I used to run...
Another 1/2 pound loss for me this week. Slow and steady wins the race I guess. I think I'm building some muscle, and that's what's slowing my losses down. But, hey, as long as I'm losing I should be happy. Total lost so far 17 1/2 pounds, I just finished my 12th week.
