Ruth soothes her family conflicts with cake. Do you use food to soothe and comfort your family? In your particular case, is doing so more healthful or harmful?

How did you guys like the book? I really loved how easy it was to read. It was light reading and so funny to me in parts. I found the characters just came to life. It flowed really smoothly for most of the book for me. Plus, it made me want to bake cake. Really bad! lol
