I dehydrated zucchini chips, and they appear done, but they all stick to the trays. I sliced them very thin and they tear when I take them off. Now I really have a mess to clean up. Do you spray the trays with cooking spray to avoid things sticking? Or did I just slice them too thin?

What sort of gifts have you made using your dehydrator? I'm trying to get some "idears" for Christmas this year. My mom gave me a Taste of Home soup special magazine and it had a handful of soup mixes . . . I'm interested to see what some of you frugal dehydrating gurus have done.

Today I'm doing one tray of parsley and one of chives. They've been growing in the south facing bay window all winter, and I've been using them all winter and now it's time to put them outside. So I cut them way back and now I'm drying them ;)
