As the weather warms up, lighter fare replaces the heavier foods enjoyed in fall and winter and desserts are no exception! Many look to fresh fruit-based and no-cook desserts as a way to satisfy the sweet tooth.
I discovered this combination quite by accident (I put strawberries in my salad...

My favorite homemade desserts are cookies and brownies. I also enjoy eating apple crisp. It's so delicious!!!! I usually bake desserts 1-2x a week. The downfall of desserts, I tend to eat too much of it.
I also like cinnamon rolls and pies.
Thought I'd start this thread when Hollihandi asked for this recipe. Summer's almost here and I love a nice light refreshing dessert. Post your favourites!
This is SUPER easy and very fresh & yummy!

I need a distraction right now, so I'm thinking dessert of course.
Here's what I am making tomorrow. Please add your recipes here too. Think cool, quick and easy recipes. Remember those kitchens get hot and we don't want to be there any longer than necessary.
I have already made this twice this week. Originally the recipe was for peach cobbler, but it works wonderfully with any cobbler suitable fruit...peaches, blackberries, blueberries, cherries, etc.
6 Tbsp. butter (no substitutes)
1-1/4 cup sugar, divided
3/4 cup flour
Please post your tried and true crockpot recipes for desserts in this thread.
These are recipes that you have actually made before and are known to be good. Please don't post any that you haven't tried yet. Thanks! :D
