I am due to replace my furnace filter and have been thinking about switching to a reusable furnace filter instead of continuing to buy disposable filters. I don't know anyone who uses a reusable filter and most people look at me funny for even considering it (I'd like to try and reduce the...

It is that time of the year in Toronto, when the temperature dips, the furnace starts working often and the indoor air dries up, causing so many problems... We have purchased 3 humidifiers by now, to find that the filters require frequent replacement (except one of them, with a "permanent"...

I was wondering if people use paper coffee filters for their coffee makers or do you use the wire mesh one that you wash out each time? :coffee:

We use a metal reuable coffee filter, but I see that there are 100% cotton and hemp filters available now too. (for cone shaped and basket) This is a nice alternative.
