  1. Meal planning
So, my schedule is crazier than usual (leaving the house at 7am and getting home at about 11 pm) so I'm looking to do some freeze ahead meals for hubby to take care of. He did well with making meatloaf this week....granted, I put together the meat mixture and all he had to do was add cheese and...

Anyone here tried the 'Method' or 'Seventh Generation' eco cleaning products? Are they just as strong as the nasty smelling chemicals? Do you need to put more elbow into it when using these? The reviews I've found all say the same thing...smells great, pleasant to use and works but not as well...

Not sure if this belongs in Health & Beauty or in this category but just wondering if they make a green/eco friendly nail polish? I know they have brands that do not use formaldehyde but I don't know if there are any 'safe' ones out there. Anyone know anything about this? If so...are you able...

The reason I ask, is because new neighbors moved in over the weekend. So, dh and I walk over to introduce ourselves, after they got all moved in. She didn't even speak. All he had to say was to make sure our cat didn't go on his porch, and if our newly planted (on our property) shrubs get to...

Here is the deal. We decided that we needed an influx of cash for other projects and since our cars where paid for, we could down-size them. I basically had $13K to spend on a car for myself. So I wanted something with 4 doors and decent on gas. I went to Carmax where they bought my car and I...

The second home friendly of the year, this time against Super League new boys Salford City Reds. And I absolutely promise I won't make any comments about the "silky soft moves" of Ray Cashmere, I'm far better than that. For those of you who don't know, a brief history... Widnes and Salford are...

The girls get a magazine called High Five, it's made by Highlights. They had this recipe in the December issue and I can't wait to try it out. I want one for my car. :) I might even have the girls make some for the grandparents. 1) Mix together 1/4 cup of cinnamon and 4 tablespoons of...

So tonight we went to Island's restaurant for my birthday. They always send a generous birthday coupon. Free entree and free slice of Kona Pie, which is enough dessert to share. So we just needed to get an entree for DH and we're all set. Plus, I got money for my birthday, so I used that to pay...

What can and can't be used on cloth diapers is pretty restrictive- no brighteners, bleach, softeners, etc. Does anyone know if the recipe I found (maybe here?) that uses fels naptha, borax, and washing soda is safe for cloth diapers? Or does anyone have another recipe that would work? Thanks!

Does anyone want to post any of their favorite WW meals/recipes? Maybe we could keep them all in one area? (the veggie burger looks good!) I eat mostly unprocessed basic foods, but one thing I really like that fills me up is the Boca Meatless lasagna. It's only 5 points for a huge portion! The...
