I was at Target the other day and they had an endcap with milk, I chose the whole milk. One gallon was $2.49. I knew we wouldn't use the entire gallon before it turned, so I poured it into two ice cube trays and wrapped them in a freezer bag.
I'm so proud of myself and would never have thought...
When I put the bag of froze vegetables in the deep freeze I accidentally put two cartons of a dozen eggs each in the freeze. shells, carton and all right in the freeze. I figured it out two days later.
Are they still good? or should I throw them out?
I am making room in the freezer, and realize I have a few gallons of frozen rhubarb! I would like ot preserve it but not sure. All I see is stewed rhubarb, and I have no idea what I'd do with that.. :lol3:
Well we woke up to no water today and still dont have any. We had to go buy some new heat tape to wrap the pipes. I hope it gets them thawed soon.
I also had extra kids here for the weekend. So that was fun. I hope you all are having a better day.
and guess where I was when the water ran out? In the shower! I didn't even get all the soap off of me or out of my hair! I have to go to work in an hour and if it's not unthawed by then I'll have to spend the day soapy!!!!!!!! Yuck!!!!!!!!:toothy:
