    We're still working on BS2 (I think we can pay off credit card #2 today though, check back later in success sub-forum). Looking ahead to the fully-funded emergency fund, is there anything horribly wrong with being conservative and putting away 6 months of income, returning to this step...

    as of today i transfered over my last bit of cash to my EF and its is now full funded, i did it in about 6 weeks which was quck for me. now for the holiday spending money and the house fund!

    DH and I had saved up $650 so far for the Baby EF. He has a small safe and he had been collecting the dollar coins for quite a long while. He told me today that he didn't want to save them anymore and we could use them for the EF. There were 368 of them! So we took 350 of them and the $650...

    I've been reading a lot on these boards lately and sometimes I read that a goal is to have your emergency fund "fully funded". What/how much is a fully funded emergency fund??? We have 5000 US dollars in ours.
