I have one of these--got it for my birthday last year, and I absolutely love it. The heat of the wax feels so good on my skin, and it leaves it so soft. I use it once a week on my hands, elbows, and feet. Does anyone else here use one?

I found a recipe for Buckeyes tonight, and I want to make them for the holidays (never had them before), but I don't have paraffin wax. I know that this is used to make the chocolate shiny when coating them...so if that's the only purpose for it, can I leave it out? Or is there a substitute...
