My mom and I made pear sauce today...it turned out so good! I got Bartlett pears for 0.68/lb at Rowes this morning, peeled and quartered them, put just a little apple juice in the bottom of the pot for liquid, DID NOT ADD SUGAR, and simmered them for a few hours. I left it just a little lumpy...
