I know this may sound like a stupid question, but I know nothing about gardening, so please bear with me.
We just carved pumpkins and the kids want to save the seeds to plant next year to grow pumpkins.
How is the best way to do this, I mean can clean the seeds and then store them until next...
This was requested on my thread about Dh's birthday.....it is my MIL's recipe. She makes them perfectly (and sells them every Thanksgiving), mine didn't turn out very well, but practice makes perfect!
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup pumpkin
1 teaspoon lemon juice
3/4 cup flour
I haven't made this, but thinking of giving it a try as we generally have LOTS of pumpkins.
3 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter
1 - 5 1/3 ounce can evaporated milk (2/3 cup)
1/2 cap canned pumpkin
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Maybe a bit early for this, but wanted to share it before I lost it again. :pumpkin:
The Pumpkin Prayer
As I carve my pumpkin, help
me say this prayer:
Open my mind so I can
learn about You;
(Cut the top of the pumpkin)
Take away all my sin and forgive
me for the wrong...
