I just purchased from the thrift store a Banana Republic knee length down coat for $10. Can't believe it. When I checked Banana Republics site it lists a puffer jacket at $130. Right now it is in the dryer. My criteria for purchasing anything at a thriftstore was that it needs to look new...

My husband loves to drink these things called Sobe 0 waters. Today at Target, they were 10 for 10 dollars with a 5 dollar gc for buying 10. I had 4 coupons if I bought 4 I got one free. So, I got 20 sobe waters, used the coupons, and paid 16 dollars and have 10 dollars in gc. :basket: Score!

I'm so stoked I have to share! My mom asked me to swing by Rite-aid and pick up my dad's prescription. While waiting on the pharmacist, I wandered to the Christmas clearance section. I struck it big time! I had never considered Rite-aid for the post-holiday sales before. I'm going to keep them...

:dancing:Actually, I don't know whether it is fair to say that I scored it, since a friend scored it for me, but I am still the happy recipient. My VCR died last week, and I am 3 weeks into a really good habit of doing a certain exercise video. A friend, who had the dubious joy of listening to...

I am so proud of myself - today, on a hunch, I went out of my way to stop by Goodwill. I have been needing to replace a cheap cardigan sweater that began pilling up the third time I wore it. It is two years old now, and disgraceful. I thought maybe with the holidays and end of the year, that...
