I have been reading alot about it. I have a small back yard . So theres not a lot of space. I think it would be a good way to garden with out having to break up the ground much. I would love to hear thoughts from others who have tried no till gardening.
  2. Lifestyle challenges
I am sure you all have heard about the "No Spending" Challenges. So DH and I have made this pact starting today to not spend until July 5, 2011. We do have some exceptions of course. His is: - Christmas for the family (within reason...I am thinking $100 max). He is big on this. -...
  3. Homesteading and gardening
I have heard that legumes are good for the soil. I was thinking of maybe tilling my pea vines into the bed real well. We have a 6 inch raised bed and we are doubling the height and will be adding a bunch of dirt, so we could cover the vines and work it in really well. Is that a good idea?

  13. Christmas
:reindeer::reindeer::reindeer::reindeer:   Well, Christmas is just a little over three months away.  How prepared are you for holiday gift giving?  To get a handle on my own spending, and in my efforts to be ultra-organized this Christmas season, post the people on your list, your $$ budget...
  14. Halloween
They are already quite large (think the kind you would pay $10 for at the pumpkin farm) and almost completely orange. Tomorrow I will be putting them (carefully) on newspaper per Rhonda's suggestion, but I am wondering if they will even make it to Halloween. Obviously keeping them on the vine...
