I have an HP Pavilion dv9913cl that is about to be sent in for warranty work with 2 weeks left on OEM warranty. A 4 year extended warranty is $289 and a 1 year ext. warr. is $119. Two and three year are options also, 189 and 229 iirc. I am aware DR usually advises against extended warranties...

We don't usually go for many extended warranties, but the flier for this did look interesting. Our home is 15 years old with aging appliances, and this warranty supposedly covers all repairs/replacements for $55? The monthly fee is $40. Anyone have experience with this company? Thanks, Becky

The sellers purchased a home warranty for us when we bought the house. We used it twice this past year on the furnace (it is about 15 years old), but that is it. It will be $600 to renew it. What would y'all do? Jennifer
