I have to admit that quilts are a mystery to me. I wouldn't have idea one about how to start one.
It was suprisingly easy. I designed a baby quilt on graph paper first, cut the fabric out, sewed it all together, tied it...turned out really well for someone who had absolutely no clue what they were doing!I have to admit that quilts are a mystery to me. I wouldn't have idea one about how to start one.
I'm in too. I was so disorganized this past year. 2010 will be better. I've already started my list and have come up with a few good ideas. I'm going to make a quilt for my daughter and I already have the material. I have the cross stitch material and floss to make the pictures for the oldest 2 kids. So I just need to figure something out for the twins and dh.
I bought my sister and bil gifts already and wrapped them and gave them to my mom. She lives with them but is out here for the holidays, so she can take them back with her and put them in her gift closet until next year. No shipping costs then. I still need to get something for my neice and nephew though.
I also bought a christmas kitty teddy for my daughters stocking. I'll continue to look for stocking stuffers through the year.
