I'll try this week, but I think it may be a wipe out. However, between the furniture moving/reorganizing/indoor gardening, the apartment is a shambles. It's to the point where it's circular. You know how it goes. I can't finish A until I do B to make room for it, but I can't deal with B until C is done, but C won't be possible until A is finished. Gahhhhhhhhhh! I hate that stage, and it just gets worse and worse until suddenly it all falls together.

I change my rules every week, LOL. This week I also have to be away from home more than usual. I will commit to do 40 things this week, but I don't think I can plan them. I'll just list what I do, and see if I can make it to 40 by next Friday. That's the best I can do this time.

Today:

1. Finished crocheting afghan (weaving in zillions of ends and fringe left)
2. Put gas in the car
3. Placed Amazon order

An end of last week success -- I finally moved the yarn to my big wicker trunk and all the full skeins fit in it (remnants in balls are in a big basket). This is the first time in has all fit in the trunk in forever. I could not have squeezed in one more, but I didn't have one more. Success!

So the de-stashing is beginning to show measurable progress. A triumph!

(I'm not focusing on the fact that I still have a huge trunk and huge basket of yarn to use up. My glass WILL BE half full!)

The list continues:

4. Downloaded audio books

I did this in past tense, but I'm currently doing it. I had a few selections left to choose on the membership, and I have to haul my computer into work to download them, a real pain. But I have dial up at home and it would take days. I can't do it on the work computer because I would have to download software to do it. At any rate, I will have listening for quite a long time now.

Just realized that I was using the wrong number of tasks, I did 12, 11,10 when it was supposed to be 12, 10, 8 - it had been so long since I did the pyramid instead of the giant list that I had forgotten. So I will make a list of 3 tomorrow instead of 6 to get back on track.

I gave up trying to get much done after Tuesday last week. I was a little under the weather and my car was fritzing all over the place. Hopefully taking it to get fixed tomorrow. Did a lot of family time from Wednesday on. Spent Friday at my MIL helping her clean out 2 rooms and prepping for a garage sale. The garage sale was all day Saturday. She got rid of 75% of the stuff she had out and made a little money. She was/is happy. Sunday and yesterday morning I could barely get out of bed. The lower half of my body felt like someone took a baseball bat and beat the stuffing out of me. Better today, but still really sore. Saturday was quite brisk and I don't know if it was an arthritis flare, a virus (several are going around the family) or just that I am that out-of-shape. Since yesterday was the start of my week, here is what was accomplished that I can remember:
1. last week's finances
2. caught up on emails
3. took recycling from kitchen/family room/laundry room to bins
4. unloaded dishwasher
5. reloaded dishwasher and ran
6. picked up and straightened kitchen/family room
7. took out master bath trash
8. called df to cancel yesterday's lunch and to talk
9. called another df to confirm Wednesday's lunch
10. washed and dried a load of clothes
11. met youngest dd at dr appointment
12. went to grocery store and picked up half-a-dozen items (don't normally go there and now I remember why)
That's all I can remember. . . . .

My goal for the next few days is to get our lives back to normal.

Have had a wonderful time with my BF from 42 years ago - a real vacation from all of us. They just left five minutes ago - I'm getting a massage in 20 minutes, then I'm going to see what happens - may go to the pool to get back to my exercising - weather has been really too cold and windy!!

Shall be back to post my list later!!
