2. Cut out costume #3
3. SeW costume #3
4. Finanacial records - update
5. Call DD
6. Work on personal computer
7. Clean out school computer --> external memeory drive
8. Laundry #1
9. Laundry #2
10. Physical therapy exercises - Friday
11. Ride bicycle - Friday
12. Write notes
13. Wrap small packages

:teddy2: That's enough for noW!!

Ok, here's the proposal. This isn't a pyramid or To Do list, but I've enjoyed "playing house" with all of you so much, I'd like to do it here.

I really worked the last couple of days of really got the cleaning done and everything put away. Apartment is shipshape. But entropy rules the universe and it never lasts. I am going to try again to outwit the tendency toward chaos. When it is orderly I feel so much better in every way.

For a while I would like to have just one rule - it's all in apple pie order before my head hits the pillows. Dishes washed, stuff put away, clothes hung, and keep up with the bigger cleaning chores on days off. If I do this long enough, is there a glimmer of hope that it might actually become a habit?

So my list for the week is:

Saturday: clean apartment at bedtime
Sunday: clean apartment at bedtime
Monday: clean apartment at bedtime
Tuesday: clean apartment at bedtime
Wednesday: clean apartment at bedtime
Thursday: clean apartment at bedtime
Friday: clean apartment at bedtime

At least I should be able to remember my list!

I will allow minor infractions, but when I'm honest, I know what is allowable and what is not. I'm not very hopeful this will work, but I'm going to try. Once it's all clean, why is it so hard to keep it that way? Is it really so hard to put what I took out of the closet back in the closet when I'm finished?

Apparently.

Donna, I am the exact same way. My house was done and spotless, one lazy day and it looked a mess again this morning. I will have things to deal with over the next week that will go on my lists, but as far as the house is concerned I'm going to do the same.

Well, yesterday wasn't on the list, but it was clean last night.

I did the morning dishes already, and since I'm at work from 2-11, it won't have much chance to get messed up today. So I may actually succeed for TWO days in a row. Awesome!

~I was up sick last night so I really doubted I'd get all that much done today but I surprised myself!

1. return library materials
2. grocery shopping
3-4. loads laundry
5. clean counters/empty sink
6. cut up/portion/freeze meat
7. clean out fridge
8. make ice/fill bucket

Now if the kids will stop trying to kill each other I may be able to get in some sewing time tonight.
Is anyone else taking the day off tomorrow?~
