3. Make lasagna.
4. Make chimichangas.
5. Start mushroom kit.
6. Wash pint jars.
7. Look through library cookbooks.
8. Remove cabinet shelf.
9. Work on no sew rug.
10. Sort cutting boards and baking sheets.

Seems rather ambitious and my back still hurts, so we'll see what gets done.

Ah... the day person who has recovering from surgery is due back Monday, so as to today I have my own life and schedule back! Today I allowed myself to sleep late for the first time in seven weeks! Hooray!

It's been a horrible grind, and I am officially putting myself on vacation after tonight's shift through Friday, so it's another Baker's Dozen week for me. It's a week to just relax and recharge. So at no particular time during the week:

1. Brown lots of hamburger and freeze
2. Crockpot pulled pork - freeze
3. Crockput chicken, pork loin - freeze
4. Laundry
5. Put away laundry
6. Grocery shopping - a maybe, may change this one
7. Finish Progoff journaling book
8. Gather up a few items for donation, take to car
9. Send baby afghan to Sr. Sharon

That's a start. Probably none of it today, maybe take some of the meat out the freezer to start thawing.
7. Clear off, deregister old Kindle if C buys it

Well, looks like I got about halfway through. But we unexpectedly had to run into town and spend some money for no real reason, so that took some time. Cabin fever is setting in! I did get a bag of Miracle Grow potting soil for my sorely neglected seedlings at half price, so that paid for the extra gallon of gas we burned off making the trip.

I'm going to look through the library cookbooks in a bit and might work on the rug later, so all in all not a bad day. And I'm glad to get the jars washed, even if I had gotten nothing else done. They've been stored for years in the garage with the mice and spiders, and they were not a pretty sight. :yucky: So it was an icky job, even though there were only four or five dozen of them to do. Still have to wash quarts and sort through the jar rings, but those won't be so bad since they've been in boxes. But the pints were one of those jobs I tend to drag my feet about doing just because I know it's going to be yucky. Dumb, huh? I'd be a lot better off just to get it over with!

So far, so good.

1. Look through library cookbooks.
2. Make lasagna.
3. Make chimichangas.
4. Pot seedlings.
5. Unload dishwasher.
6. Wash frying pans and grill. (Why'd I have to add 'and grill?')
7. Get quart jars from garage.
8. Work on no sew rug.
9. Dye hair.

Got the quart jars in and some in the sink, all of them unboxed, pre-cleaned, and now I'm just waiting for them to warm up to wash them. That'll be good! They're not as icky as the pints were, so it shouldn't be too bad of a job.

Got the clean pints all put away, so I can see what I have room for in that cabinet now. Think I might buy some more wide-mouth pints next summer. But now that they're all in one place, I can really see what I have for assorted sizes of jars and it appears I'm pretty well set. Love that! And it's great seeing all those scuzzy jars all clean and shiny again, and ready to use.

And it's barely past noon!
