I bought a long sleeved t shirt from Jc Penney for 21 cents including tax.

It was originally $18

On sale for $11.99

Used a 15% of coupon and a $10 of coupon

For some reason, Kohl's has been sending me $10 off anything coupons. They've been doing this about every month for the past 5 years. Every time I get one, I go in and get something that is slightly more than $10, and end up paying under .50 for whatever. Shirts, socks, boxers, my wife gets things occasionally, now we get stuff for the kid. JC Penney's used to send me the $10 off coupons every month, but they stopped after about a year.

My mom used her $10 Kohl's Cash and bought something that was under the $10 like $8 ( she thought it was going to be $15 but it must have been on sale)
They did not make her go get anything else they just took her $10 Kohl's cash and handed her her bag of stuff. No Money exchanged hands.

Jc Penny would have made her go look for something else until she reached $10
