I was browsing on www.miserlymoms.com and found a link to another one....
http://digital.lib.msu.edu/projects/cookbooks/index.html

The 2nd one is a compilation from Michigan State University of late 18th century to early 20th century cookbooks. They even have a 'frugal' cookbook. Just move along the top and click on 'browse'.

I hope someone else finds this as interesting as I did.

That is a cool site, isn't it? I already have it in my Bookmarks....it's nice to know someone else finds those old recipe books interesting. Did you see any recipes you want to try?

Thank you for posting the link. There are a lot of great books on that site that I can't wait to take a closer look at.
