My DD brought home an airplane plant from school-her teacher planted 3 little shoots from hers in a pretty glass for mothers day. My question is: how do I NOT kill this plant???? All she told us was to leave it in the glass till it had to be repotted;nothing about water or sunlight,etc. Help!!!!! I am not known for my green thumb-I've killed an aloe plant

I have no idea! I don't have a very green thumb, but I betcha Karlisangel will know! I have never heard of an airplane plant before. You know, I have killed more plants in this house than i can remember. I lost a few ivys, ficuses, cacti, avacado trees, and more that i don't know the name of. I would love to have a house full of green houseplants...sigh... Good luck with yours.

water weekly and move to a larger pot as it grows... and moderate sunlight....
