That was an interesting article. I do think many people are overweight from processed foods and fast food. I know I gained a lot of weight from both these sources. One value meal a week can often be the extra fat calories that cause a pound of weight to be gained. Over the course of a couple of years of eating that one hamburger a week, add a few other snacks, and maintaining a lifestyle of not enough exercise and you can find yourself pretty darn fat in no time.
For some people obesity is genetic or a person is more genetically prone to being overweight, but for many it's food choices and exercise that really are they key to their health and weight issues.
