I have been having some excessive anxiety linked to my job. I don't think the job is the entire cause of the anxiety, I just know it is adding to an already fragile situation. For those of you who struggle with this, who can I talk to about these issues? Do I talk to my doctor? Do I try to talk to my doctor? I don't even know where to start.

Thanks for any help and please feel free to PM me.

I would definitely talk to your Dr. He may prescribe an RX, recommend a therapist, etc. I was started on Zoloft last June for my anxiety and it's working quite well.

Yes, definitely start with your regular primary care physician. And you shouldn't feel at all nervous about it, lots of people struggle with anxiety/depression.

My sister is diabetic and has anxiety. She was so stressed out she was having really high blood sugars. What a difference the meds her Dr. prescribed made. Not only to her physical health but her whole outlook on life.
