yep, I'm one, although I have 4 grown step-kids from my late DH.

It is a money saver...though not why I chose it. Glad to see there is at least one other out there. I have a kid I helped raise a bit when his mom was sick, but I didn't birth him and we don't have any good nameable relationship like "step son" or anything
