(Not sure if this should go here or not.) Just wondering if anyone is from Colorado?  Particularly around the Colorado Springs area.  I was just curious on the cost of living, job market, etc.  We would like to live in the country but within a 30-45 minute commute to Colorado Springs.  My husband is a bricklayer and I will have my degree in elementary education completed next year.  We have horses and would like to have some acreage.  I know land prices are probably high, but I'm hoping someone can give me some input as to a good area to live but reasonable.  Thanks in advance!!  We will be coming out in September for a visit!!

Me, me :wave2:

Country living around c/s is easy to do, there are alot of more rural areas near by, Yoder, Payton, Falcon, and so on. Construction, especislly new home is a booming business here right now, so being a brick layer should be pretty handy to get a new job with one of the many many building companies. Several school districts are in the area. www.springsgov.com is our city webpage. all kinds of info there. :)
