I founf a bread machine in a garage sale for $5. So far I have made a few loaves of white bread with store bought mix. I bought all the items to make scratch.

Now I need some recipes that work and tase good as well as easy and "cheap"!

Thanks for any help!

I am really hoping for pizza crust for more than one pizza at a time and rolls as well as loaf bread.

This is a good one. It's a copykat of Outback Steakhouse bread. You start it in the bread machine and bake in the oven. It's yummmmmmm!

i am pleased to announce that the 3rd bread recipe is a keeper too. my son was snacking on the leftovers just a few minutes ago.

This recipe is the one I use for everything. I make bread, dinner rolls, and hamburger buns with it.

3 1/4 cups all purpose flour (can use 1 to 1 1/4 cups whole wheat for part of the total flour)
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp salt

mix togther in bowl and set aside

In bread machine pan I add :
1 cup water
1 beaten egg
2 TBS margarine cut into little pieces

Spoon flour mixture into machine pan letting it sit on top of the water. Don't stir it in. Make a little well in the flour and add 1TBS yeast

Turn the machine to the dough setting and let it do it's thing.

After the dough is done, dump out onto floured surface. Divide the dough into 2 pieces and put into two greased loaf pans.....or divide into 24 pieces and put in 13 x 9 pan for dinner rolls..... for burger buns, divide into 8 - 10 pieces and shape into buns ( kinda like flattened circles) and place on foil covered cookie sheets.

Cover dough with dish towel and let dough rise 25-30 minutes. Bake @ 375
