Apple Crisp


Recipe Description
The only apple crisp recipe you'll ever need ;)
Preparation Steps:
~Peel, core, and slice apples
~Preheat oven to 400º
~Grease (or use spray like Pam) 8" x 8" square baking dish​
Level of Difficulty:
Easy​
Time Needed:
5 min prep, 45 min baking time​
Ingredients:
~2-4 granny smith apples (or other baking apples)
~cinnamon to taste
~1 c. Sugar
~1/2 c. flour
~1/2 c. melted butter​
Serves:
6​
Directions:
Place sliced apples in a greased 8" square baking dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon and 1-2 T water.

In a medium bowl, mix sugar and flour, then stir in butter. Topping should have a wet sand consistency.

Crumble over apples and pat down

Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown

*Note: I double the topping recipe when using 4 apples​

This is the Apple Crisp recipe I use, I got it from my great aunt, years ago. The apples on our tree are just about ripe, I think I'll make this real soon. :D
