Or do you not say anything to them about their parenting?

For us, our older kids are raising their children so different than we raised them. There is little discipline and other areas that we don't agree with, but we've learnt to keep our opinions to ourselves over the years. First, they are the parents and second it just makes life sooooo much easier.

How about you?

I don't say anything unless they ask for my advise. My grandkids are pretty much grown up now. I worried that my daughter's kids were really being spoiled they have turned out wonderful. Never in trouble and appreciative. So I am glad I never tried to correct her child rearing. All 6 grandkids are doing well. I feel putting my two cents worth in would just cause friction and they wouldn't listen to me anyway. But they have done well.

I try to keep my opinions to myself-unless she asks me. Which means poor DH sometimes really gets the worst end of my ranting:D But all in all she does a really good job,she just does it differently than I would!
