Safeway has asparagus on sale this week. I bought a couple pounds today, nice thin ones. Washed them, snapped them, put them in a bowl and coated with olive oil. Laid them out on a grilling rack and seasoned with kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper. On the grill (about 450*) for about 5 minutes.
Wow. So darn good.
I'm gonna go buy some more tomorrow.
