I am an autumn lover, autumn is my favorite season. Here is a special gift for all the autumn lovers out there. I made this video back in August of 2006 and it's still one of my favorites for repeat viewing. I watch when I start looking forward to the coolness of autumn.
I feel the short 1 minute and 33 seconds captures how I see autumn in my mind. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

The voice over is provided my non other then myself.

I call it the

Loved your video-------------I too love autumn but it is so slow:turtle: getting here. This whole next week the high temps will be in the mid to high 90s and the lows will be in the mid 70s here (Georgia). And every year it seems to stay hot for a longer and longer time before it even begins to cool down somewhat. Maybe I should move farther north?!?!?!?

Autumn----the smells, the crisp air, brilliant colors of the leaves----I love it ALL!!!

I am also an autumn lover. I love the changing of the leaves and bon fires to roast hog dogs on. It is so hot here in Missouri right, that I will most certainly welcome any cooler weather..blessings..Kathy

I, too, love Autumn. The crisp, clean air. The leaves all different colors. When a good bowl of stew after a refreshing walk hits the spot. Nights are cooler. My favorite time of the yr.

Oh my that brings back so many memories.

I'd come in after walking a few miles. My hands would be cold and a bit numb. I felt chilled while I was outside in the mild breeze and 50 degree temperatures. I walk indoors and suddenly I feel my body get hot under my fleece jacket. Beads of sweat form on my forehead. I walk into the kitchen and the light is on, must mean someone is around.. A big pot of vegetable stew is simmering. I can smell old fashion corn (bread) cake baking in the oven. I flip on the oven light and peer inside. The delicious golden delight peaks over the rim of the bread pan. My mouth waters as the fragrant aroma of cooking stew and corn bread floods my nostrils.

There's a state park near where I live, which has fresh stone ground corn mill. Which makes the best corn bread. They grind it right there with a water wheel. It's so good.

Do you like sticking your hands in the pumpkin and pulling out all that slimy pulp and seeds?

What Mountains would that be?

I'm in southern Indiana and it's be in the highs of 90's, with like 88 percent humidity. It's not been very pleasant outdoors. It's not even comfortable to go outside and sit on a shaded porch, except at night. It's so the birds have to use potholders to pull worms out of the ground.

I love autumn as well. I come back to life with those first brisk mornings and it carries me thru to February. March starts beating me down with all that wind and things slowly wilt and fade as the flowers bloom. It isn't until after the August parching of my veggie garden that i can dare hope for life to be breathed back into me in late September.
