Avocado ice cream
Recipe Description
does not need an ice cream maker!..Creamy, tart sweet flavor..good with fresh berries!
Preparation Steps:

Time Needed:4 hours 15 minutes
Ingredients:1 large avocado, peeled and diced
1 cup half and half
2/3 cup powdered sugar
1/2 tsp lemon zest
1/3 cup lemon juice
Serves:1 cup half and half

makes 3 cups
Directions:1. Combine avocado, half and half, sugar, lemon zest and lemon juice in a blender.
2. Pour mixture into a 2-quart baking dish.
3. Cover and freeze until firm, about 4 hours.
4. Before serving, let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes. Scoop and serve!
Stores in the freezer in an air tight container for 1 month.
