Banana Baked With Sherry

1 lge banana firm
2 Tbsp Sherry medium dry
1/8 tsp cinnamon ground

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
Slice the Banana in half lengthwise and then again crosswise and lay
the 4 pieces in a baking dish.
Pour the sherry over the banana and sprinkle with the cinnamon.
Bake for 15 minutes.

To serve:
Spoon the banana slices onto plates and pour the pan liquids over them.

NOTE: If you use a banana that is too ripe it will cook up too soft
and will be difficult to serve.

Variation: The addition of a dash of nutmeg or a sprinkle of
artificial sweetener on the cooked bananas make them even sweeter.
