~I have three big projects on my list. Things that will take quite a bit of fabric and time.

#1: Covers for custom cut foam cushions for a small RV, needed by July 7
Status: 13 yards of fabric ordered, delivered and ready to cut. I have to finalize my cutting layout before breaking out the scissors.

#2: 4 dozen cloth diapers for my sister's baby, due Jan 1, but needed for the shower around late October-early November
Status: 8 tees used and some pieces cut out, a stack of a dozen t-shirts ready to use. I do need more t-shirts, maybe even 100 by the time I'm done, thread and maybe velcro. I'll be getting more shirts this weekend at a thrift that sells them for $.10 each. :D

#3: 60 backpacks for a church's women's weekend, needed March 2012
Status: need 20 yards of fabric-I picked a red bandanna print with white jersey straps but I'm not ordering the fabric until I'm almost done with the diapers. I do want these to be done this calendar year.

Of course I'll be doing regular sewing in between and throughout the process of these projects. But these big things are going to take a significant amount of my sewing time this year.
Anyone else working on something big?~

I need to do seat covers for the Avalanche, especially the back seat where the dogs ride. The front seats are going to be a nightmare, but at least in my research when I thought I'd remove one to make things easier, I did find out removal could trigger the side air bag, so at least I found out before the explosion killed me. *whew*

I just bought another fast-set canopy on sale less than half price, so now I need to add solid walls to the screen tent that fits the frame for instant screen walls. The plan is to use this new canopy for an outdoor kitchen when we camp, so we need solid walls to keep out wind and rain.

Are we just talking about sewing projects? If not, then I have a 12x18 deck to build, if our state government ever settles the budget so we know if my husband is going to be laid off in a shut-down or not, and if so, how much money we're going to lose. So consequently, I'm not sure we'll get that started this year.

Also in the construction department, there are some modifications I want to make to our camper to make it function more efficiently, such as adding a step, moving the Porta Potti space, changing where the dishes are stored, and stuff like that.

We need to finish painting the skirting on our house, the decks, and deck rails.

I need to plan and set up our indoor winter garden, and do some construction for that.

I could go on forever, sadly.

It's going to be a short, quick summer.

The only big sewing project I am working on is the bird bags for the Avian society - they need at least 200 by September - have the sample made and have sheets to use. Some are cut and will be sewn as soon as I finish putting the backing on my charity quilt.

i want to cover our pillows in family room in Phillies themed fabric as the Bar area ( not used as a bar but for eating or coloring etc by kids ) is in phillies- but the fabric is so much and all i can find now is fleeces that i am actually been watching for tees on sale or clearance racks that i can sue coupons to get a lower price and use them to do the pillow covers .

Mine are all quilts. I have been cutting out pieces I know have 31/2 quilts and I have 6 more to cut out. Except for an
Baby quilt for my new grandson these are all Christmas gifts. Plus I made myself 2 new dresses or my trip next month and I'm taking my Christmas ornaments that I'm making for the Christmas swap. I hope to be done by the end of Oct. Fern
