I thought I would put this out here. My biggest sweepstakes win was a $1000. gift certificate to Spiegel a few years back.

I have never really won anything that was really expensive. I would have to say it was probably the Longaberger basket I won one year. I don't really win too much so I can't honestly say if that would be the best thing or not. I just can't remember ever really winning anything.

My biggest instant win was a gatorade cooler on wheels!

My first win was a "Wham" keychain from a teenie magazine. Does anyone else remember Wham and George Michael?

My biggest lottery ticket win was $500 on a $1 scratch off in college. WOO HOO.

And my biggest win ever - from a raffle ticket......A free trip to WALT DISNEY WORLD! My DH and I only had to pay for food. Not bad for a $5 investment. That I only bought because I had sold the ticket seller a raffle ticket from my organization a week earlier!

Thanks for taking me down a memory lane!

I haven't had big wins, but I won a $25 gift card to Sears, and one year my mother gave me a Valentines lottery ticket in my card and I won $50 dollars. Well wait a minute my dh took me to Indiana the boat, I forget the name of it. I had never played roulette and my dh asked me to pick a number and he gave me $25 and I put it on number 7 and it hit, I got a little over $800 and I grabbed my chips and cashed them. I enter contests all the time but don't win any.

Well that is a great win. Some of my relatives used to work at Longaberger making the baskets, but have since been laid off. Some of them are quite expensive. I use mine all the time. I even have their dishes.

I have a BIL and SIL that won $50,000 in the lottery. After the chunk of taxes, they bought a mini van and blew the rest on a vacation. Our biggest win was the $250 bucks at a casino in Vegas. We each gave ourselves $25 bucks to play on, mine went quickly. When I found DH and saw he had a huge bucket of coins, I made him leave.(Yes, he was madder than a peach orchard boar.)But we wound up with $250 dollars on a $50 dollar investment.I don't like to gamble that way. I do keep filling out contests. It is fun.

Our local Chamber of Commerce has gift certificates that they sell that are good at a ton of businesses in town. I once won $500 of these gift certificates out of a drawing. I used them to go out to eat a few times, bought some clothes at the mall, and used the rest on groceries.

During fair week our local fair holds a nightly drawing of 1000 and on Friday night gives away a pickup...About 13 years ago I won that 1000.. We paid bills and took a trip to Texas to see my dad.
