i thought it turned out pretty cute! everyone loved it. i made it chocolate!!;)

thanks carolyn, yes the kids loved it! they kept sneaking the candy as i was decorating it!:toothy: the pic is kinda dark, makes it look yellow, but it is actually white (cool whip and coconut).:(

I love these cakes! I can remember my mom making one for me about a year before she died, and I've made one for dd a couple times. I think it is so adorable and it's even fun to make! Yum, never had a chocolate one, yum!

It's awesome Misty, and you have to sample the candy as you do it to make sure you get it right !!!!!!!!LOL:D

So cute!!

I usually make them with round cake pans, bake as directred, cool, cut in half frost both halves and plcae together (so it looks like his back), frost the remaining cake, add coconut for fur, jellybeans for eyes, licorice for whiskers, and construction paper for ears!
