My husband and me stopped in our local antiques mall yesterday and found the most beautiful burl wood wall clock. Ones this size roughly sell for 45-75 dollars. We picked it up for $3.50 the only thing wrong is it needs a new movement, which we happen to have a spare from an old broken clock. Its stunning and will be going by our new fireplace at our new house.

Thanks so much, its working great now and only a few more days until we can put it in the house. I still cant believe a potentially 75 dollar clock for 3.50 this seems to be happening to me a lot lately. Just got make sure i dont go broke on bargains.

Thats wonderful. Our first purchase together was a wall clock and we have always hung it to the left of the front door at any house we have lived in, I dont know why but it just doesnt feel like home until we hang that clock.
