I am thrilled!! Last year we tried to trade it in and downsize and the offer we got to trade it in was only 9 thousand. We've been checking around on and off and we also heard that trucks have gone up in value. (it was a 2006 Chevy 4x4 and super low millage)

A car dealership gave us a trade in for 12k today! So 3 thousand more than last year and of course the truck is a year older. We owed a little over 10k so we got more back then what we owed! We bought a 2000 Jeep Cherokee and this baby purrs. 3750.00. Fully loaded, the family can all fit in, and it's so sweet and it's mine! Well almost. ;)

So today we got out of around 7k of debt and got a new to me car that I love. Dh kissed his truck goodbye. :p Such a good sport but he knew it was the smart thing to do. Another great thing is since we downsized and they gave us that much for our trade in, we had no taxes owed on the purchase.

Did I mention the seats heat up in the winter, sun roof, child safety locks and windows, seats fold down, power everything, tells me when to change the oil, how many miles I can drive before running out of gas, the temp and gas milleage all digital and flashes at the top, control air and heat temps for each side, etc. so much etc. :)

What's so weird is that our truck was so basic but cost so much for not much....but a truck.

Yes of course this car has high millage but I am a SAHM so we are talking maybe a few miles per week for errands, dh will drive it to work when the weather is really bad, and just when the family goes out on an outing.

We had under 20k miles on a 2006 truck(that we bought new) because I drove it and dh takes our cheaper less gas guzzling, paid off car to work.

I was going to take a pic, but ran out of time and it was dark.

This was our truck we traded in and look at the asking price. lol They made no money on our purchase but the manager said that they was going to make it off our truck and really push the low mileage.

I'm laughing at the comments the manager says at the bottom of the page.
