way to go!
Paying off my second car was when I realized that:
1) It would be incredibly unlikely I would ever buy a new car again
and
2) It would be even more unlikely I ever financed a car again
It also made me realize how much debt was a pain. So much freedom once the car payment was gone. I lived high on the hog for several months after sacrificing for years.

*remember......I am the one who just lost her husband. I had life insurance on him but I signed up so long ago that I thought it was a small amount. It was way more than I thought. So, I am glad I was able to pay off this debt. It won't bring him back, but now I can spend more time with our children. I won't have to work so much overtime now.
