DO professionals REALLY do a better job than the take home machines. I need my carpets cleaned, we are gonna move but we are not putting in new carpet first so I need my filthy carpet to look better.

Opinions please!

I have one..it's the Hoover (sorry can't remember the name) but I love it. I think it does just as good a job as any professional or rentasteamer that I've ever used. I have done both before. It was wonderful to have it done (if you don't count the money....pay once, get it cleaned once....that's why I bought a machine....pay once use it over and over and over again). I really like mine but I would buy one with the steam like the Bissel Steam Clean I think is the name. I would rather have it, even though I heat the water up myself before putting it into mine.

I have a Bissell steam cleaner and love it ! I have had pros and they did no better...... I have a little green clean machine too, and it's great on spots and upholstery !!!
