What is your preferance?

I was making a coleslaw for supper and thinking how much cheaper it is to make one than it is to make a fresh garden salad and yet my preferance is fresh garden salad with lots of tomatoes, lettuce, green onions and cucumbers.

Whats your favorite?

Both, but right now cabbage is cheap and I got some sour cream to finish off. Mind you the sour cream dressing goes well on a lettuce salad too.

Can't make up my mind. My family likes coleslaw a bit better and it is easier to make with my food processor.

I like this recipe.

Coconut Slaw

1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons white balsamic vinegar
1 (16-ounce) bag coleslaw salad blend
1/2 cup coconut flakes
1/2 cup raisins

Whip together in large mixing bowl: coconut milk, mayonnaise and vinegar.
Add coleslaw, coconut flakes and raisins. Toss to coat and serve. (Makes 6 servings.)
