I am a little creative with the main dish, more creative with the sides, and very creative with desserts. (Being a former pastry chef, desserts are the easy part for me.)
We do usually fall back on certain recipes for the main dish, but every once and a while I will vary them for company. I just don't want to try a recipe the first time when they come over and find out it is NOT a good recipe, KWIM?
