I find I have a few set menus when I know companies coming and I usually fall back on those. I'm not a creative person when it comes to baking or decorating.

Do you find it easy to be creative when you know companies coming?

But you're right, if I did there are a few recipes I use that can easily be made in larger quantities. (Oh wait I do that now and just freeze the rest! )

Decorating? Do you mean as in how you set your table or the whole house?

If it is the house, forget it, I'm lousy at that. I'm lucky if I just get this huge house clean all at once!

If it is the table, yep, I can set a mean table when I want to.

I am a little creative with the main dish, more creative with the sides, and very creative with desserts. (Being a former pastry chef, desserts are the easy part for me.)

We do usually fall back on certain recipes for the main dish, but every once and a while I will vary them for company. I just don't want to try a recipe the first time when they come over and find out it is NOT a good recipe, KWIM?
