1 box vanilla wafers
5 or 6 ripe bananas
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 cups milk
1 can condensed milk
large tub cool whip
1 small box instant french vanilla pudding mix

Put pudding mix and milk into small mixer bowl and beat until thick. set aside. beat cream cheese in large mixer bowl until smooth and add condensed milk and 3/4 tub of cool whip and pudding mixture. layer wafers in large glass bowl or trifle dish. next a layer of bananas and then pudding. repeat and put rest of cool whip on top.

I used fat free cream cheese, fat free condensed milk and lite cool whip. also you can use fat free milk when mixing the pudding mix. this is even better the next day.

Rich and Creamy Banana Pudding

One 14 ounce can condensed milk
1-1/4 cup cold milk
1 small package instant banana pudding
1 tablespoon banana liqueur or almond extract
2 cups (1 pint) Cool Whip
40 vanilla wafers
3 bananas

In a large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and cold milk. Add pudding mix and beat well. Add liqueur or almond extract. Fold in Cool Whip. Line vanilla wafers at the bottom and along the sides of a 9 x 13 inch pan. Spread one-half of the pudding mixture over the vanilla wafers. Slice bananas on top of the pudding. Spread remaining pudding mixture over bananas, garnish as desired. Chill for several hours.

Serves 20-24.

I make this one but often leave out the extract or substitute vanilla.
