Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff

Recipe Description
I adapted this from a creamy beef over noodles recipe, and it turned out awesome! The meat cooks for a long time, so you could do that before you leave home, and when you come back, add the rest to finish it up.
Preparation Steps:
Chop beef if it isn't already chopped, chop onion, slice mushrooms
Level of Difficulty:
Time Needed:
8-10 hours
2 lbs stew meat (any cut of beef you like)
1/2 pound of mushrooms
1/2 onion, or one very small onion
2 T butter
1/4 cup milk
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1 cube beef boullion
1 T pepper
1 t salt
1/2 bag of egg noodles (about 6oz)
1/2 block of cream cheese
serves 4-6
Dump the meat in the crock pot. Add onions, butter, Worcestershire, milk, beef boullion, salt and pepper. Add just enough water to cover the meat, should only need a little. Cook on low for about 6 hours. Add the mushrooms, and continue for 1 more hour. Add noodles and 1 cup of water. When noodles are tender, add the cream cheese and cook through.
